A favorite on the Special Board circuit. Kind of the "Anti-Harvest Pork", I think. Never hot enough for me. They always do beef well here, though.

I moved from San Francisco a few years ago. I greatly miss Henry's and Brandy Ho's. Hot & Sour Beef was my favorite at Henry's. The consolation is that I bought the "Henry Chung's Hunan Style Chinese Cookbook" and make many of the dishes regularly. I highly recommend the book to anyone tempted to replicate Henry's great dishes. My favorites are Hot & Sour Beef, Sliced Beef w/Scallions and Spicy Deep Fried Pork. There is also a recipe for Harvest Pork, but I haven't tried that one yet. Bon Appetit.
