| This one is, obviously, just Chicken with String Beans without Chicken. Yes, it's tasty, and very pretty. (In the restaurant it's a lot greener; the trip home faded it a bit). But, as Walter Mondale said, "Where's the Beef?" They're also starting to get to know us, as the hostess Nina knows all our names now. |

This is one of my favorite dishes! Although listing it in the vegetable category is a bit questionable because there's so much meat in it. |

An 8???? Only an 8??? What you are nuts? And just because there is no meat in it? Thats unfair. You cannot get beans done anywhere else like this - they are superb. And more to the point, they participate in many dishes that you have rated very highly. All get a 9 (beef, shrimp, ham), except the chicken which gets a 10! Its clear what the common denominator is in those meals. The string beans on their own in my book get a 10. Anything less would be criminal. Shimmie. |
