Item # 68:
Combination Chow Mein
Price: $8.95
Date completed:  Friday May 30th, 2003
What is the combination? 10-36-21? Two into the six off the bank into the corner? Pretzels and peanut butter? No, it's chicken, DNA-shrimp, beef, and pork, and these diverse ingredients are combined as if the world was meant to be this way. They're not fighting in there, they're teaming up to deliver a chunk of heaven. In some ways, it's hard to believe this is Henry's - hardly a hint of pepper (well, there is a suggestion), but it isn't needed.

Apart from that, I'd like to give props out to a couple of good ideas put forth last night for what I should do at the end of the menu:
  1. Go to (crash) various people's barbecues throughout the city and rate them
  2. Sample all of the Filipino restaurants in Daly City
Not bad, keep those ideas coming!!

How about sampling the burritos of the mission?

10 items left. I noticed that you filled in the "mystery item" (#78) with something bizarre enough to still be a mystery.

Now that's a cool name, Karzon. Who are you?

I get that a lot oddly, but an explanation of the pseudonym would take 500 words. I guess I'm just a guy you don't know who's a fan of the site for a reason I don't know. I'm in the east bay and don't ordinarily get over to SF, but when the menu is finished I'll have no excuse not to go. Sometime.

Great idea, #1. If you want to crash a Barbeque, make your first one mine. I'll be featuring pork tenderloin cooked with indirect head, melt-in-your-mouth chicken, home-made sausages, and home-brewed beer.
