| For those of you who aren't familiar with they way the lunch specials at Henry's work, it's like this: They'll take one of the popular entrees, cut the size down to a more manageable portion, slap it on a bed of rice, and it's out the door for like six bucks. It's that, or the seasonal dishes with asparagus. Usually it's something like Chicken with Black Bean Sauce Over Rice, or Kung Pao Chicken over Rice or something. Pretty good deal, right? Problem is, you can only get these special versions of the entrees when they're on the board. Except for this one they hid on the back, which just happens to be a lunch version of the best thing on the menu, Smoked Ham!!!!!!!!!! That's what I hoped it was coming in to it, and it sure is. This is absolutely perfect, and only five measly dollars and forty-five sense! If this were the only dish on the menu, one would still have a reason to come here every day all night long. Problem with that tempting scenario is, of course, if one did that, one could end up looking like Louie Anderson's bigger brother. I will say this, the ham was probably a bit lower quality and a littler fattier, but that's totally acceptable for the more manageable portion size and price. Bravo! |

I think that maybe the reason everything is getting a high score recently is because you have not been going everyday. It seems like now you are down to once or twice a week. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and the scores higher...perhaps? |

Dude! It's smoked freekin ham! What else could this have gotten but a ten. I tell you what, I was just about to give it a zero -- ask Chris or Greg -- because I waited so long. But then I was brought this beautiful greasy, salty masterpiece! I had no choice but to bestow upon it the highest possible honor. |
