Hunan Velvet Chicken

This one was extremely promising. It looks great, with the green beans and the mushrooms and all white meat chicken. And it smells great too. Has a great texture. The chicken tastes wonderful. Given all that, though, this is probably the most disappointing dish - it just doesn't live up to the expectations that the senses of sight and smell gave to my tongue. I had to add soy sauce, for crying out loud, just to give it some flavor. I'd love to see this chicken in a Kung Pao, though! Holy mother of my fish, that would rule the universe!!!111
