This is just an idea I had to explore every street in San Francisco.
So I found (on the internet)
this gazetteer from the early 1900's
that had a ton of streets listed, including all of the streets they
connected to. So that's a start -- I've got 1933 streets so far --
there are a lot missing, but it's a start. The rule is this: to
finish a street, I have to travel the length of it either by foot or
bike (possibly motorcycle, I haven't made up my mind yet).
Then I take pictures and give a review of the street. I'll be adding
features as time goes by, like for other people to add their
comments about the streets, and stuff. But for now, you can just
email me with suggestions.
Yes, this could take years and I'll probably never finish. So?
