Dolores

This street is all about palm trees. From top to bottom, the
entire street has palm trees in the median. I'd hoped that I
would find something I'd never seen before, as usually happens
when I explore a street. Not really, I guess I'd already seen it
all. Seeing Mission Dolores Basilica, though, led me to find out
what exactly that means, and also prompted me to visit it some more
(although not today - no, today was just about the street).
There are a couple of peaks from which one can see downtown and
other areas of the city very nicely, but I would say it's more fun
to ride (the moto) down the street in one trip than stopping every
other block for photos.
Dolores Park is, of course, the most important site that borders
Dolores Street, and it was a lovely Sunday afternoon as I took
pictures there, but the best photos of the park will come when
I do Church.
This streets gets only a 6, as I was hoping for much more.
Notes:
- from Market between Guerrero and Church, South to San Jose Avenue
- Mostly residential, with just a couple of coffee houses, and one bar, O'Greenberg's, which isn't distinctive enough to warrant even a photo.
Comments:
I don't like this street all that much

Only a six? Name one other street in SF that has palm trees down the whole street (embarcadero doesn't count because when it turns to go toward the bay bridge it doesn't have them really anymore). Don't be so hard on it. It deserves at least a seven, for the architecure, park, and church alone. Sheesh.
